Tips for Success in Acquiring Government Funding

One of the most common issues I am confronted with is "how can my organization get funded for its program(s)"? And while funding opportunities are not what they once were, there still are some important opportunities out there that can "magnify" the under appreciated work your organization does. I recently attended an information session on a call for funding from Immigration Canada offered for local settlement agencies and non-profit organizations.

The points they outlined are applicable to most situations where non-profits are following up on grant funding opportunities and are relevant to a number of situations where I have been involved in writing grant applications. In this video, I outline two important points but it should be added as well that applications need to cover every single aspect in terms of deliverables.
